How You Can Help This PSX Homebrew Website Grow

This website is a labor of love dedicated to preserving and sharing homebrew games for the original PSX. Whether you're a developer, a collector, or just a fan of that iconic grey console, your support can make a real difference in helping this site grow and stay alive for years to come.

But most importantly: the mission of this website is to encourage people to play these games. Not just to archive them—but to give them life, attention, and a real audience.

If you enjoy the content and would like to support its growth, here are a few simple ways you can help:

Send New Homebrew Discoveries

If you know about a PSX homebrew title that’s not listed here, feel free to let me know! You can send me an email (retrolain2001@gmail.com) with the name of the game, any download links, and any useful details. Every suggestion helps improve the completeness of the site.

Also feel free to email me if you are a developer and want to promote your game. It can be perfectly included in the rest of the games! Although the news section is still to be done, there is the possibility to make your game more known with a small interview!

If you want to make my job easier, please add the following questions when you write your mail:

  • Name of the developers.
  • Date of release (month and year).
  • Last update (month and year).
  • Type of graphics (2D or 3D).
  • Version of the game (e.g. 1.2).
  • Genre.
  • Number of players.
  • Are you the developer of the game?
  • If yes, would you like to do a short interview about your project?

Please add links to the game or developer's networks!

Play the games!

Homebrew games deserve to be played, not just listed. Download a few titles (or at least one), try them out on your PSX or emulator, and see what creative minds have done with the platform. You can also leave a comment on each game’s page to share your experience, report bugs, or point out fun details or easter eggs. Your feedback adds value to the site and helps future visitors know what to expect.

Follow and support Developers

Every homebrew game featured on this site is made by passionate indie developers who work in their free time, often for no monetary gain. If you enjoyed a particular game, consider following the developer on their social media, YouTube channel, GitHub page, or itch.io profile—wherever they’re active.

By following them, you can:

  • Stay updated on new versions and bug fixes.

  • Discover other homebrew or indie projects they’re working on.

  • Show appreciation and encouragement through likes, comments, or shares.

  • Help them grow their audience, which can boost their motivation to continue creating.

A simple follow or kind message can mean a lot to someone working on passion projects. Supporting the creators is one of the best ways to keep the PSX homebrew scene thriving.

Share the Website

If you like what you see, please spread the word! Share the site on social media, gaming forums or anywhere retro gaming fans might hang out. Your recommendation can go a long way toward helping others discover this archive.

The more people discover the site, the stronger the PSX homebrew community becomes.

Help Improve the Site With Suggestions and Resources

This website is constantly evolving, and your input can help make it even better. If you have ideas to improve the structure, discoverability, or overall experience of the site, feel free to send me an email. I'm especially interested in:

  • Suggestions for features you'd like to see on the site.

  • Useful resources for PSX homebrew development (tools, tutorials, libraries, etc.).

  • Anything that could help the PS1 homebrew community grow.

Your ideas are always welcome, no matter how small!

Also, if you come across a broken link or something that isn’t working properly, you can leave a comment directly on that game’s page. It’s the fastest way for me—and other visitors—to spot issues and get them fixed quickly.

Together, we can make this site more useful, more complete, and more fun for everyone.
